French Scheme of Work for KS2 - Years 3&4

This Scheme of Work is written by Rachel Redfearn of Wakefield Local Authority and published by La Jolie Ronde. Ideal for non-specialist teachers.

The package includes detailed lesson notes in ring binder and access to a range of supporting resources in a digital download format. The programme links with the Modern Foreign Language Framework.

Supporting resources include:

• PDF resources
• Interactive Whiteboard resources for use on Windows based devices
• Songs and poems, Chante en Français 1, recorded by native French speakers
• Sound files for language support, also recored by native Spanish speakers

The scheme allows schools to meet the requirements of the National Curriculum for England. The lessons are generally divided into 4 x 15 minute sessions to give maximum flexibility. The whiteboard material is supplied in a format suitable for use on all types of interactive whiteboards and displays.
